Introducing the 4 most conventional methods of adjusting the size of SUP paddles.

1.Laird Hamilton method
Laird Hamilton (a paddleboard pioneer) recommends that
Paddle 3-4 inches (7-10 cm) above your head.
Then adjust according to your needs, mobility and experience.

2. Lifting method
If the Laird Hamilton method does not suit you.
Try the following, which is also the most common method in China
Stand the paddle on the ground, raise one of your arms
The height you reach with your five fingers bent
is the length that your paddle should be adjusted.

3. Shaka Method
Stand the paddle on the ground.
Place one hand in a shaka position above your head.
The height of the tip of your pinky finger is the length that your paddle should be adjusted to.

4. Direct view method
Turn the paddle upside down, with the blade standing in the air.
Keep the intersection of the paddle blade and the shaft perpendicular to your line of sight.
Adjust your paddle accordingly.
